Hi folks,
Two down and just one more to finish this year presentations. The Gold Coast conference was excellent, I made some very good friends (I hope) and I got some very good feedbacks and tips regarding my presentation. This time I had a little more time to share with some fantastic and friendly people like Chris Muir, Connor McDonnald and wife, Tim Hall, Alex Gorbachev,Dennis Remmer, Martin Power, Andre Araujo, and many many other great peolple in the conference, also I want to say to Chris thank you for all your hospitality and I’ll be waiting to see you on your next visit to New Zealand.
This time Tim Hall got the second place again 😉 and Connor McDonnald got the 3rd place. Next round will be Rotorua,NZ (score 1-1 – because Connor got the 1st place [Best Speaker] on Perth), and I’ll let you guys know the final score next week.
The last conference day started very early, with an excellent presentation done by Rich Niemiec about 11g new Features (at 07:00 AM), everyone in the conference was waiting to see Tom Kytes presentation after lunch, Tom came to this year conference with his daughter, and the conference finished with a excellent keynote session by Rich Niemiec again, this time talking about the Oracle history (with several interesting information and pictures), here are some pics from the last 2 days:
Now it’s time to sleep and do some Christmas shopping tomorrow before I take my flight back to Auckland in the afternoon.
Cheers,
